Fare means “to do” in Italian, and it involves shaping something. That something is similar to pizza, but not quite, it’s Pinsa Romana: it differs in formulation, fermentation, baking, and shape. We meant the name to be the starting point towards the introduction of the Pinsa.
While most Italian pizza shops in Buenos Aires are inspired by Neapolitan folklore, in this case, we traced back to the Roman origins of the Pinsa. For the logo design, we drew initial inspiration from the idea of sculpting on stone, and then we did several adjustments motivated by Roman architecture and the product itself: it is strong like a Roman column, curved like the Colosseum widows, and dusted with flour, as it’s always close to the kitchen.
Our team took care of all the aspects of the brand development: from the initial concept and name creation to the implementation of all elements. This included social media, signage, pizza boxes, the menu, art direction for photography and uniforms.
